Visually inventive and occasionally funny but way too long for what it offers. After 80 minutes I was bored with the repetition and had nearly an hour of more of the same to go.
An excellent look into the careers of two of the most unique musicians active for the last 50 years. Directed by Edgar Wright it is accessible enough to people who have never heard of Sparks but detailed enough for people who were already fans.

Utterly crap generic sci-fi, everything here has been done better elsewhere. I imagine the writers just numbered a list of sci-fi staples and rolled dice until they had the episodes mapped out.
Apart from a few scenes that are visually impressive, despite rehashing the work of Scott and h.r. Geiger, the rest is boring dusty desert populated by the red shirts (sorry, mithraics) and some kids who are terrible actors.
I stuck with it just to see how ridiculous it got and I sure wasn't disappointed!
I really wanted to like this but I thought it was pretty shit. Pretty, as in is it looks beautiful in 4K but shit for the all the plot holes, terrible dialogue and the stranger things sub plot
