I find it difficult to rate this film. The story is a good one. The acting is also good. I found what detracted most was the graphic violence and casual, even paid-for, sex indulged in, showing the seedier levels of homosexual life. A lot of, perhaps too much, graphic nudity too. Very raw with few human sentiments of tenderness and care.
@WhitePower (btw, what's up with that username, are you a laundry detergent?) we know you like those 'sh*thole relations' too, or you wouldn't be putting so much effort in actively seeking out all these LGBTQ+ torrents just for a dumb comment. Trolls aren't fooling anybody anymore
Great film brilliantly acted by Olivia de Havilland in yet another masterful performance. Tough and gritty, it will have you on the edge all the way through.
This has got to be one of Olivia de Havilland's Greatest movies. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat and for it's time back in 1964 it was pretty violent.
