@JohnDoeniro you can't convince people with words to believe what they just watched wasn't a steaming pile of crap. reality just doesn't work that way.
Another cliche horror movie, so many of these have come out over the past few years. This again goes down the usual route. People walking around the house with torches, when they can easily switch on the lights. The music, your usual scary soundtrack that's been around since the genre began. B movie actors. You get the picture. For once the critics have it right, it's just been done so many times and a waste of time. A family drama with little horror.
first 8 1/2 minutes were great, looked good, thought it was going to be an epic film. then suddenly it turned into a comic joke of nonsense, with unbelievable acting and tiresome dialogue and what's happened to Karl Urban's face.. looks weird.

@kibirleab it's a bit slow. full of fake italians and not very interesting. if you like to see keanu act a bit dumb and everyone else act over the top, with gays and one of each race boxes ticked, you will love it.
99.9% drama. 0.1% sci-fi. if you're a teenager or someone that enjoys watching teenagers badly act and adults act like teenagers, then this is for you.
