Im on the second episode and it seems quite good. Its definitely not casual viewing tho. There is absolutely no character development, the characters are thrust straight in at the beginning without any lube, like this is what you get, figure it out. It makes it challenging to follow from the start. Hopefully it gets easier.
There is so much about this movie that should have been good but I hated it. First and foremost is fuggin Mark Ruffalo, Goddamn that guy is a talentless hack. If never see him in a movie again it will be too soon. Then there is the misguided, over the top artsy acting style, like it was really trying hard to recreate a starship troopers vibe and it just didn't work at all for this movie. Then, of course, the subliminal woke messaging sprinkled throughout; colonialism, interracial relationship, white man bad, black woman good, natives misunderstood and good etc, etc. And for some reason, right at the end a semi-main character was shown in a same sex relationship for no reason or relevance or even continuity of the character development. Then the Audio, I dont believe it had anything to do with the file, I think it was just the way the movie is. I couldn't understand what was being said half the time and most of the movie was a chore to decipher the dialogue between characters.
I only managed the first episode. The plot seems fine but every scene was ridiculously dark and I cant see much of whats going on. That with the audio, I really have to strain to hear dialogue. It made it too much of a chore for me.
Just reading the synopsis of this movie makes me think it must have been funded by J3ws. I mean, what kind of queer n1gg3r hom0 phagg0t would want to watch this victimhood g0ysL0p?
