A must watch. It's a beautiful and touching movie about KINDNESS and love during the holocaust. Please do not taint this movie with your political biases and prejudices. It's probably the reason why this movie did not do so well....plus people nowadays would rather watch movie about sex violence and super heroes. Such a shame! You msy be an anti or pro Israel. But this movie isn't about it. The holocaust did happen. It's a dark reality we can never deny. It's part of history. But again, please do not politicize this movie. Do not let the comments you read below discourage you from watching this movie. It's a good one.

To those saying this should be classified as "fiction" and not history. Try to research first. You even have your Google. Use it. You people are quick to dismiss when you haven't even read valid or reliable resources. This is placed in this category because this is part of Israel's History. I know there are more and more people who are becoming faithless and ignorant; quick to deny and dismiss things without even looking at the facts and thinking critically. But there is definitely more proof that GOD exists and these things have taken place. And it would require more faith to deny GOD's existence and be an atheist; believing that everything came to being from simply... nothing. That would require more faith since it's a theory that has never been proven,
