Just started watching season 1 (don't know how i missed this) Charlie Cox makes a great Daredevil, great fight scenes and really great all around acting team, fighting choreography and story lines.
Burned out, ptsd, angry, over trained, family loss, no compass to follow in life -all understandable and easily parts of the character. challenges, too OP and too stuck in his own head in my view -as I believe the self-mutilation and ignoring surroundings was too extreme (as it would have prevented/weakened performance of the body and tactics). However, I gotta admit -it is nice sometimes to see bad guys get rewarded with societies revenge.
A great show if you enjoy a good Neo-noir movie. Highly recommend getting/turning on the subtitles as -this has a lot of sharp double meaning dialog that if you don't catch it may weaken the story/plot for some people. A very female like version of Sam Spade/Maltese Falcon story-line. However, my suggestion would have been an expansion of the male cop's role -as he is such a great comedian/actor (as seen in horrible bosses). Maybe in a part two...
