I recall watching this as a kid and was instantly captivated by the dark atmosphere and tone of the film. Its one of those straight to home video releases back then , the equivalent of what u call a indie flick now. Excellent production design and moody cinematography are assets of this deliberately dark -looking cop vs a monster serial killer with a true grungy "2010s in 1992" futuristic aesthetic

overall a good movie that pays homage to 90s- early 2000s disaster/alien invasion movies . a slight dose of jerry bruckheimer , Armageddon , The core. independence day and such 90s stuff with a good but different premise. The only flaw is some of the acting is uninspiring or rather flat..and lacks some of the grand euphoria of those older decade movies

I always loved the Tamll film called Rhythm in year 2000 and its music by AR Rahman for the generation of that time. In 2025 comes another . this is one of the best movies of romantic genre again with similar premise as Rhythm. Again AR Rahman excels , . this is a original South Indian Tamil language movie . Not crappy Bollywood pretentious romance,..although its also dubbed in Hindi, its better to watch it in Tamil language. beats all the acclaimed Hollywood stuff like a Walk in the clouds, Sleepless in Seattle and ect the BGM by AR rahman is a whole new thing and its amazing how he keeps reinventing himself for current generations

its highly watchable well its kind of original premise with some 80s flavour to it with 2000s visuals.... Oujia boards horror cliques had been made countless times but this is probably the first time Tarot cards are being the subject of a horror premise.

its watchable,,, like the typical zombie film but has different twist to zombie genre..actually shows the zombies as having emotional side to them as they try to avenge the people responsible for their turning. There is enough drama and gore to keep the plot moving..

A good watch , same vibes and premise as "A Quiet Place" and Will Smith Movie " After Earth". Potential for sequels next. Basically its similar, earth invaded by aliens, survivors 8000 feet above the ground to be safe. The creatures use CO2 breathed out to detect and hunt the humans. But it was never explained why the creatures are afraid of going up to 8000 feet. My guess is that in that elevation, the CO2 is more and less oxygen will somehow confuse their detection mechanism..

@astroscoutergaming , the fact that they killed off hicks and newt for this adds an extra bleakness to the film as RIpley is now has to do with a bunch of unknowns in the deep slums of space.

it has the best scifi set design of all the movies considering this is from 1992. Its from director David Fincher , The run-down dark bleakness of the facility is remarkably well done and movies today always go for the clean scifi look

what a crap movie..not even B grade , worst... the lead character with another female comes across the remains of people killed by the monster in a lake and he is totally cool about it? no reaction , nothing? he then starts to explore the bodies . What would anyone's first reaction would be? run and call police. the plot writer needs to be fired for this illogical writing.

If u live in Southeast asia like me , this is a very important film . A classic which started the whole asian horror wave in the 2000s and these films massively overtook Hollywood in the horror genre.
