One of the best military shows out there. I can only assume that the production company used a real ex SOF soldier as a combat advisor because it's very close to the real thing. Showing on BBC IPlayer. Excellent show and none of that WOKE crap we British put out. Yes women are portrayed but as they are in the military, bloody good soldiers and colleagues. A+++++

5 episodes in and Firstly MI5/6 are not gun toting sociopaths. Yes, some are trained in small arms but they are not like James F****ing Bond! In the episode of the 1st attempt to capture the gunsmith, (in real life) the MI6 officer would "only" supply the required information to the capture team, who, if not local SWAT would be UKSF, the MI6 officer may on site but out of the way at a boundry. No SF operator is going to put theirs or a comrades life in the hands of an unknown. In this case a female a BIG no too for non misogynist reasons. This is watchable but the fact film & TV production use the "it's just entertainment" excuse is itself inexcusable. Ps to all those with problems with some of the episodes titled wrong, I always download the MeGusta uploads as they are top notch!
Absolutely fantastic thriller, great story with superb acting. Probably the most impressive thing about this production is that the producers used advisors who knew the subject well, the weapon handling, drills etc. were just as it is in the real life world of the characters portrayed. This is the fictional story of a special forces soldier, the man, the soldier within a close knit team, the husband, father, son, friend & protector. I have been honoured to work in real life with men like this training for situations similar to those that arise throughout the series. No Johnny Rambo's in real life Special Forces, so none here. This is the best series of it's genre and I can't rate it high enough. A superbly crafted edge of the seat thrill ride that shows a realistic glimpse in to that life.
I have finally found and have episode 5 of season 2 but being a technophobe have absolutely no idea of uploading it. The series is good, however I preferred season 1 and the original principle actress. Unfortunately I think the production has gone a little "BBC" what really urks me about a lot of these tv programmes is the authenticity in action scenes. If you're going to shoot scenes with police or military conducting house searches, gunfights etc. get the actors/actresses trained in weapon handling and tactics and employ a military or Swat type advisor who actually HAS experience in that role. There are countless on the scene, having myself worked with actual members of these units and special forces of various nations, I know that a lot of them would jump at the chance of spending a couple of days on set for beer tokens. You may not like the programme "Seal Team" but they have 2 ex SF advisors and it shows, or watch "Nobel" a Norwegian SF thriller and see how it's really done
Absolute rubbish!!! I thought that being an ex SAS operator and firearms instructor on the movie Heat, McNab would have made sure that his first foray into film would be good...... How wrong I was! This film is embarrassing to not only myself but to everyone who has worked with or for the guys at H. I hope he doesn't put his Nick Stone character into film! If you have any military experience please AVOID this trash
