Man! this is what low budget cinema is all about. Such a good time watching this movie. The comedy is actually cracking, the romance is oh so sweet and the sci-fi is cheesy as hell! It's like the perfect recipe.
I had this movie on my watch-list for ever - for some unknown reason - and decided to download it a few days back when i had run out of new stuff to watch... even more mysterious is how i actually finished watching it even though i had to stop at some point due to falling asleep halfway. Still i did return today and finished it... only to find myself with a heavy heart and wet eyes when the credits rolled. Oh boy! Life is so damn twisted. Very good, slow paced, touching, relatable family drama. Turns out it was exactly what i needed to soothe my overstimulated nerves today! 6.5/10
Based on a true story?! Bwhahaha!! All these characters behavior is so unrealistic it was unbearable, i got tired of it after a while and fast forwarded until something i wanted to see finally (!) happened 98mns in... Gosh. So glad i did not go through the whole ordeal. Not recommended at all...
Started really dramatic, ended up pretty hilarious. Good cinematography, goofy plot, weak action and forgettable acting. Definitely worth a watch but nothing more.
Ice road was pretty good so i just went in this one blind with no idea about the direction/production behind this flick. And i swear i started suspecting it was actually an Indian or Nepali production pretty soon, i mean it looked and felt just like a lame Bollywood plot for an action/drama movie if u ask me. I felt a bit embarrassed for L. Neeson to be entangled in such low quality level to be honest. I was indeed surprised when the credits rolled to find out it was in fact an American production. 5/10, better watch something else if u got any other option.
I don't give a rat's ass about US politics - a sick form of entertainment for the hypnotized zombies, played out by the worst actors/liars/psychopaths - and i pity those who do. But then again, this is true of nearly every country at this point so i find it utterly futile and immature to discuss this worthless topic here, in the comment section of a website for pirated movies of all places. This movie on the other hand has very good entertainment value and was played by excellent actors for the most parts. I was sucked into the story right from the start and i guess those commenters who found it boring were probably high on meth or some other shit when they watched it. lol I would have given it an 8/10 if the last scene had not been so lame but unfortunately they couldn't help it and it simply ruined the whole fun/immersion for me. Nevertheless, i totally recommend it and i believe it deserves its IMDb rating... for a change.
This is a welcome breath of fresh air after watching a long list of run-of-the-mill average action movies this year. Hits the mark on both comedy and adrenaline. Deserves a better IMDb score imo, would give a 7.5.
What the hell is this? A money laundering production or something like that? What's even more insane is that there are ppl actually watching this sort of garbage.
With Wes Anderson it's either hit or miss. I really loved his animation pieces, maybe he should stick to those as they are more suited for his personal style in my opinion. Anyhow... this one was a miss in my case. The humor was forced, the acting was in general as bland as the dialogues and narration. I felt no immersion whatsoever and it was like being presented with a kinda student project rather than watching an actual finished film.
what a load of Irish crap, watched about 40mn, didn't laugh or even chuckle once, got bored out of my mind... threw the file in the rubbish bin and emptied it. Might be funny if u are actually gay i dunno... otherwise avoid like the plague.
This film tries to portrait narcissism as a funny thing, which it never is. I suppose that viewers who do not have personal experience of the hell that narcissists are manifesting around them might find it 'hilarious' to watch Tim Robinson's poor acting here but those less fortunate who have got a taste of the real-life nightmare will find it painfully cringe and a complete waste of time. I watched the whole thing in 4 sessions, that's how boring it was. And when i finally made it to the end i was in awe and disbelief at the 7.2 rating and praising reviews calling this a 'masterpiece'. American culture is so contrived and twisted... this movie is a sad representation of that fact. Besides the encode i watched looked like a film from the 70s. Very grainy picture and terrible color palette, i get the feeling that is how they filmed it tho, because "art" uno. errrr.... 3/10 = stay away like the plague.
Horror is not my cup of tea but for some odd reason i was compelled to download this one and it turns out there was none of the lousy jump scares and other cliches that usually plague the horror genre. Instead i chuckled quite a lot at the twisted ways to orchestrate all those 'accidental deaths'. Clearly the whole thing was done to be light-hearted and entertaining in a goofy way, not in a chilling and scary way. It worked well for me and i had a good time watching this flick.
Slow burn kinda flick. It started really dull and rather boring, with similar situations happening again and again ad nauseam. Being bored, I had to take a pause watching about half-way through yesterday then came back to it today as i still wanted to know the ending. Some turn of events is expected to take place but never comes... until the end eventually. An end that i really did not anticipate and took me by surprise in a rather cool way, which kinda saved the movie for me. The whole atmosphere is super creepy and pretty psychedelic with extremely saturated color palette for most of the scenes. That felt kinda cheap i must admit. Anyways... not the worst Cage movie and definitely a role tailor made for him. An Ok one time watch i guess.
OMG! I wasn't aware Lightchaser Animation studio had released another sequel of White Snake/Bai She. Am getting this in 4K from Asia Torrents right away. Every movie they have produced since 2019 is mind-blowingly gorgeous. So hyped about this and also the upcoming Liao Zhai Lanruo Si.
I wasn't prepared for such a fantabulous masterpiece of a magical fairy tale with that mind blowingly, astonishing oneiric feel throughout and heart opening power to it. The kind that only a deep connection with our primal nature can provide. This much perfection in storytelling, cinematography and acting is a veritable rarity in cinematic history, so yeah... i slap a 10/10 on this and can safely say that whoever isn't touched and amazed by this movie has lost the subtle element that makes us truly worth living as humans, that is their very soul. And seeing the somewhat very poor IMDb rating (6.3 at the time of writing) it is clear that many viewers have indeed lost it, or never had one to begin with. Movie of the year so far.
