@Nick-Adventure, your review made me chuckle mate, coz u're right on point about the whole thing and then the big-ass gun being hand-cranked with those small metal wheels like in an ancient submarine was just hilarious to behold. Oh well, all considered it was still entertaining enough to watch from beginning to end, after turning off my brains of course. Unfortunately it is safe to assume that the upcoming chapters might even get worst than the first two.
@hachini23 That's because u downloaded the 3 months old files which came from Russian releases. U gotta grab the newly uploaded one but don't expect an English audio, it's a Canadian (Quebec) movie in French. Various subtitles are provided with the movie though.
@Admin Glad u noticed my comment, hopefully i won't need to report any other issue like that in the future. Thx for the real 4k upload, upscaled files are not relevant for me.
WARNING!! The file "Dune Part Two 2024 2160p 4K WEB x265-NAHOM [MKV]" is fake and contains a Trojan detected by Windefender. The torrent contains several suspicious picture files and a Rar archive which in turns contains the 1080p mkv file by InMemoryOfEVO. There is no 4K movie in this upload admin and it must be taken down asap.
What are all these fake 4K uploads? We want the real thing only. @sticksandstones - Science is the main religious dogma and popular faith today and AI it's rising Deity. Suppose that in the future we encounter alien life-forms with technologically advanced civilizations then the likelihood that we will engage in holy wars to assert the hegemony of our AI God is very high indeed. The whole of human history is sad, better get used to it.
Some people will rate a movie 10/10 just because they really enjoyed it. Not me. It takes an unforgettable, mind blowing experience to compel me to slap a 10 on anything. This animation literally took me to a different dimension, one of indescribable melancholy for a bygone era of Chinese culture, with it's wonderment and refinement which allowed talented poets and artists in general to rise to the heights of the elitist society, even when they were originally mere commoners. The epic tale of these 2 poets life-long friendship had me holding my tears for at least the entire last hour of it's 2.30 hours course (without the credits) and left me wanting for more. If u have already seen White Snake (I and II) or New Gods Nezha by Search Light Animation Studio then u know what to expect in terms of flawless, magnificent graphics quality. And if u haven't do yourself a favor and seek these out asap, they are all absolute bangers. Chang'an however is next level in my opinion.
I read the useless comments here. I watched the trailer here. I dismissed the movie right away. I wrote yet another useless comment here. Thanks to watchsomuch for saving me from 2 hours of frustration trying in vain to find some redeeming qualities in this turd.
Buddhism never quite did it for me, but that couldn't stop me from being engrossed in the excellent and suspenseful plot of the movie. A 9/10 is a rarity in my book yet this superb film fully deserves it in my opinion. May all beings in all the worlds be happy... and may they all see this highly enjoyable, unpretentious and memorable piece of cinematographic delight. And now, onto Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom, the latest offering from Pawo Choyning Dorji whom i had never heard about until The Monk and the Gun. If i could still travel i would make Bhutan - the only country on Earth with a 'gross national happiness' index - my next destination.
Watchable if u like Dong-seok Ma punching his way through everything and everyone but plot is waaayyy too predictable. Zero surprise from beginning to end, all was obvious and expected. This is tagged as Action-Adventure-Drama but in fact is Action-Comedy, adventure is not there in my opinion and drama is also absent, but if u take it as a dark comedy then u'll have a much better time watching it. Laughing out loud. (can u believe "lol" is not permitted here? Well, except this time! lololol!!!)
One of the best Korean gangster flicks out there. As usual with Korean cinema the plot has plenty of unexpected twists, often hard to take seriously, but definitely entertaining and least of all boring. I guess it is indeed worth the 7.4 iMDB rating, but i would stretch this to a 8.5 personally, just for the end scene in the spiritual community which i did not see coming and was so exhilaratingly satisfying.
This is not one of those slow placed, minimalist, true to life Japanese dramas, which i can find extremely moving and relatable. It was more entertaining than watching paint dry, but just barely. Also this is tagged primarily as comedy which makes no sense to me, unless it was done with the intention to deceive some potential viewers into watching it. I personally couldn't find a single element of comedy in this overall boring movie so, u be warned.
Glowing reviews such as the one below compelled me to start watching this show. The 1st episode was just Okish enough to keep me interested. The second one however was so dumb, the writing so retarded, it felt like i was loosing some IQ points while watching. Certainly due to the partial loss of my intelligence during episode 02 i ended up launching ep 03, only to have a spasm of lucidity just a few minutes in, at which point i promptly deleted the whole series and made sure to empty the recycle bin right away. Avoid like the plague, specially if u are a King's fan and loved the book, coz this show violently butchered the original. Wink wink.
An instant masterpiece and cult classic for all proud members of the trash society, this film is a stinky piece of sad, ordinary garbage for others. Personally I was left with a positive feeling after this movie, the kind of satisfaction which i only get when i quit watching during the first half-hour and i realize that i saved my brain from experiencing most of the toxic trash that was in store for me in the full package. Laughing Out Loud to @eee3eee comment: what did i say about trash society ppl already? Ah yes... proud to be trash loving and willing to spread their trash everywhere. Funny u had to pick on my review and call it garbage. Please stop projecting mate, your opinion is just as insignificant as anyone else, mine included.
Slapstick (or is it chopstick?) comedy ala Chinese. I lost 47 IQ points just watching the first 20mn only to get overwhelmed by the feeling of wasting my life away. A male police officer forced by a gang of gleefully creepy old ladies into a gay marriage with a dead dude? Someone please shoot me in the face. The only redeeming quality of this movie is that it made me feel good about myself for quitting early enough and before to turn into a total idiot. Avoid at all cost unless of course u are Chinese with a fondness for this specific aspect of your culture.
