Why does breathing in fresh water make this bull shark different? In South Africa, it is very common to find bull sharks upstream in rivers. They are apex predators in our rivers.

I have read all the comments, and as someone who grew up in the 1970s/1980s, I don't understand what all the fuss is about. We had movies with cross-dressing Arthur, Hairspray, and Victor Victoria. We had LGBTQ+ movies, Maurice, Cruising, Another Country, we had movies that had some of the best black actors, Shaft, Colour Purple, Dead Presidents, Lean on Me, and we had, of course, those ever-so-banned adult content movies, Emmanuelle, Shining, Patrick so I really don't understand what the problem is.Everybody is screaming and yelling woke, if you don't like a movie don't watch it. End of story, it is your personal choice, and if you feel it is not suitable for your children to watch, that is why they add disclaimers to movies. In my younder days it was done with age restriction, these days it says viewer discretion required, SVLN, problem solved, or download and watch some of the 80's movies
This is reality for most of us living in South Africa. In the 1980s, we lived through the Angolan Border Wars, and as @joanetjoe4040 stated, it is a harsh reality, and it is very real.
