I see we have complete racist idiot commenting. Yes Grupletruge, I'm referring to you. And It's fight not fite. You're also not going to take cinema back to whatever racist and misogynistic fantasy era devoid of woke you imagine. You may as well go shout this stuff on the street, for all the good It'll do you. Here's hoping you live a short, painful, and uneventful life.
This was so much better than I thought it would be! The first story wasn't my favourite. Mainly because of the Predator design being way too chunky for my taste. Although I really liked the nod to the factually accurate female Viking warrior, that have been proven by DNA evidence through archaeological research on known warrior graves. The second story would be my favourite from the three. Being a student of Iaido, any samurai related content is very welcome. The third story was my least favourite. Not because of the WWII air warfare setting. But more because of the ridiculous gung ho US army air corp character. I would've much preferred an RAF flyer saving the day. But living in a world dominated by American bollocks, I guess we're lucky there was a Norse woman, a Japanese guy, and a Mexican kid in the film at all.
I'm really enjoying this! The humour is great, and I personally don't understand what the cry babies are on about. What's woke about two lesbians getting it on with a guy? Tbh, I thought they'd be more concerned with the protagonist not having a penis! Anyway, I'd suggest watching it and making your own mind up.
A lot of war films go over the top with too much action. This shows just how much waiting around goes on inbetween contact with the enemy. Basically the old military adage, hurry up and wait is shown here to perfection.
It's very rare to get a comedy sci-fi film that's actually good. This is one of those. A dark comedy, with a bit of heart, and echoes of Starship Troopers nearer the end. I loved it! You just might too.
I watched this at the cinema. If you like Led Zeppelin, you'll bloody love this documentary! As a massive fan of John Bonham, who hardly ever did interviews. Hearing him speak in this was amazing! Best drummer in rock history in my humble opinion.
More of a Mocumentary than a Movie. This reminded me in many ways of the 2000 release, "Superguy: Behind the Cape". More modernized with media and tech of the time, but basically the same ideal - giving a glimpse into the life of a "hero" that society reveres and fears, all at once. Both are very low-budget affairs, but interesting enough to watch once. The major difference between the two is Superguy has an entire world PoV, as where Warden is regulated to Brazil, but with possible larger aspirations. How people and society in general affect the heroes in their daily lives and doings are the center of these mocumentaries, but both could've been more fleshed out.
The plot is good. Unfortunately let down by a small budget. I still found it a fun watch, and the fella rocks the most epic beard in cinema at the moment!
Video and audio quality is good. As for the film, it was ok. I wanted to really like it. But by the end I was just left feeling underwhelmed. I just hope Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars under the care of the Russo brothers injects some quality back into the franchise.
Anyway, I'd suggest watching it and making your own mind up.
