I second "Winnougan"... and add that since this show is that good i'm basically waiting for it to get cancelled. The general audience in the US has such great taste... :\ and unless there's a laugh-track and a plot that isn't done to literal f'in death, (cos god forbid that humor isn't slapstick and anyone has to use their head) the show goes in the proverbial grave. Hope to god i'm wrong on this one though...

What about GoT for example, that was exclusive to HBO and we got those on blue-ray after every season, and there's a lot more like i. What makes this one any different? I don't know this for sure and there might be aspects of this that i'm unaware of, yet i'm 100% certain (i'm aware of the contradiction) that Moon Knight will be out on Blue-ray eventually. Sometime before the 2'nd season starts airing i'd guess. Not releasing a physical medium is like leaving money on the table. After all, not only are the sales of said disc an income but who's to say that someone wouldn't watch it on disc and go "Ooh i like that, i'm gonna subscribe" That being said it's all speculation on my part. An educated guess if you will...one that i'm right about though

I'm about 6 episodes in and have to say that this show is GREAT! It reminds me a lot of "Hometown" with Julia Roberts, it's not the same plot at all, but yet similar in some ways. Hard to explain but that's my take on it, and if you liked "Hometown" then i'm pretty sure you're going to like this to.
If i would watch this movie on a 55 inch 4K tv, how big of a difference would it be (in video quality) between the 1080p at 10.7 GB version and the 1080p at 4.2 GB? Is the 4.2 GB version comparable to a 1080p Web-DL or WebRip of the "usual" quality here on WSM, so to speak, ...or is it better/worse? Usually i wouldn't bother asking, just grab one of them and if it weren't up to standards grab the other, but this one is quite big this one.
Boy am i disappointed they picked "Tales from the Loop" to adapt over "The Passage". These episodes are so slow and character driven, all the focus is on the people and very little on the "weird stuff" which at least in the first 5 episodes doesn't get any explanation of how or why it's happening. The first episode was the worst, basically just "oh, she did an experiment and i guess it went wrong..." no shit... The show is 95% PURE drama, 3% mystery and 2% scifi. I doubt i'll be watching the remaining episodes, it's just to damn dull. That being said, it's not a bad show per-se cos the acting is really good all around ( REALLY good, even the kids, and i HATE kids on TV. They're usually the worst actors imaginable) and the way all the futuristic stuff is incorporated into the everyday life of people living in the 80's is really cool. Unfortunately it's not enough to keep me engaged. Sorry. Better luck next time?
